I’m Janet Ioli

For the past 25 years, I have been helping leaders consistently choose and create the most powerful and impactful version of themselves.

I am often asked to explain why I do what I do and what makes me good at it. The descriptors of”executive coach & advisor” and “organizational & team development consultant” don’t really say much about me and why I do what I do.

I envision a world where people step into their full potential and power and lead positive change wherever they are. I want to change the world, and believe that by helping those who lead organizations and institutions become extraordinary and model the way forward to the future, together we can make meaningful headway.

My Background

I grew up in Athens, Greece and attended an international school with representation from 12 different countries.  I was raised in a bi-lingual household and was socialized multi-culturally.  I have lived and worked not only in the United States, but also in Greece and Germany. This background has provided me with a global orientation that welcomes and seeks diverse perspectives and varying ways of approaching reality.

I have held leadership positions inside Fortune 200 companies such as Cigna, Gannett/USA Today, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman– leading teams providing leadership training and coaching, leadership succession planning, and tools to enable organizational change and growth. In addition to my corporate experience, I am an entrepreneur, founding my own company and scaling it to a highly successful business.

I’ve personally had the pleasure to work with thousands of leaders in different industries and countries, helping them deliver positive results through impactful and effective leadership. Most of these leaders are C-suite executives and their teams.

My practical experience is complemented by a deep educational background in business and organizational development and post-graduate work in adult learning, human development, and global leadership.
As a result of this background, what is unique about me as an executive advisor and coach is that I really do get it. I understand first-hand the complexities and realities you face as a leader. I am realistic and practical and can help you navigate how things really are in order to influence change to what can be. I also have the education and theoretical grounding in leadership, change, neuroscience, psychology, coaching, and human development to draw on real tools and research to inform the how.

I’ve worked with leaders from:

My Superpowers

I “see” people. I “see” their potential sometimes before they do. I listen deeply and meet them where they are.  I create a space of safety that allows authentic creation to occur. I also am a future-focused, highly strategic dot connector. I am able to see what can be possible in the future and how to navigate the present to get there..

Sound Idealistic?  Perhaps. But my idealism  is grounded in practical realism.  I believe that those who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are those who actually do.
