I grew up in Athens, Greece, attended an international school with representation from 12 different countries, and have lived and worked outside the United States. This background has provided me with a global orientation that naturally welcomes and seeks diverse perspectives and ways of approaching reality.
I have held leadership positions inside Fortune 200 companies such as Cigna, Gannett/USA Today, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman– leading teams providing leadership training and coaching, leadership succession planning, and tools to enable organizational change and growth.
I’ve personally had the pleasure to work with thousands of leaders in different industries and countries, helping them deliver positive results through impactful and effective leadership.
My practical experience is complemented by a deep educational background in business and organizational development and post-graduate work in adult learning and human development.

She brings over 15 years of administrative experience to the company operations and a passion for planning, organization, and detail. For over 20 years, Laura has been working with leaders and teams in organizations to help increase their effectiveness. Her strength is working with senior leaders to design high impact off site meetings and conferences and build strong team relationships through strategic team building events. She is a warm and engaging workshop leader and team facilitator.
Her extensive experience working inside large organizations gives her a practical and realistic orientation. She has designed organizational change strategies, provided consulting, helped teams adapt and orient to continuous change, as well as designed and delivered a variety of highly regarded leadership development programs.
Laura has a Master of Arts in Human Resources Development and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and is certified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and other leadership assessment and 360-degree feedback tools.

With over 15 years of human resource management, development, and consulting experience inside several large, well-known corporations, Dr. Zauner is well-versed in the real day-to-day realities leaders face working within them. Her strength is the ability to see the big picture and patterns within large systems and recommend practical and innovative solutions to address change management and employee engagement challenges.
As a wellness coach, Dr. Zauner’s passion is helping leaders find and maintain balance in their lives. Her research focuses on mid-career women and their struggles to achieve work-life balance. She brings not only her educational expertise and practical real life experience, but an intense zeal for enhancing the quality of a leader’s overall wellness and preventing burn-out and stress.
Lara holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology, a master’s degree in Human Resource Management, and a doctorate degree in Human Resource Development from the George Washington University. She is a Board Certified Coach (BCC) and Certified Career Management Coach (CCMC). She is designated at a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), has completed the Prosci Change Management certification, and is qualified to administer the MBTI.
